BJP CHIEF OFFERS ‘GRAND’ MASJID for RAM MANDIR

Muslims may not see reason in the latest offer of the BJP Chief Nitin Gadkari, who promised a "Grand" mosque at Ayodhya in leu of the claim over the disputed site. It is a contentious issue and emotional too. (But) if Muslims and its intelligentsia sit and take a closer look on the positive side of the offer, they would definitely see reason to accept the same. But some false prestige involved in the issue may prevent the BMAC from accepting the same. The hardliners on both sides would like to keep this issue alive so that they can thrive on hate politics. That's not going to solve the age-old problem.

Earlier before the demolition and at the height of Ayodhya movement, LK Advani did make a different suggestion very close to one now offered by BJP Chief. Advani, then said that BJP was prepared to re-locate the Babri Masjid to another site, if Muslims agree to it and permit the construction of the Ram Mandir. There were no takers to that offer and eventually the structure was demolished, resulting in wounding the prestige of the Muslim community. What followed next is history. But since then tempers have come down and both the communities have thrown masjid-mandir issue on the back-burner to move ahead. In the bargain, BJP lost hold on the Hindus, resulting in it's drubbing in virtually every election recently fought. BJP lost power and face on the same issue on which it came back to power.

Change of leadership in BJP and the offer made by the new BJP Chief Nitin Gadkari is something to be considered.Though there may not be immediate response to the offer, for reasons of politics, yet Muslims should talk to the people concerned to sort out this problem so that the coming generation in both the communities can live in peace and harmony.

Congress and other parties may not like the offer and would not allow Muslims to take the offer so early and easily as the whole credit of solving the contentious issue would then go to BJP. The politics of divide and rule would continue in the years to come unless people in both the communities break the shackles to see reason.

I join millions in welcoming the move. At the same time, the same BJP Chief should make a similar offer to rehabilitate the victims of Gujarat (both communities) and rebuild their homes, punish the guilty and bring the communities together. If the BJP Chief is really sincere in solving the minorities problem, he should also make a similar offer to the community (wherever) affected by riots and (where) the victims are still languishing. A comprehensive offer to the community may do well (towards) the national cause. I wish this to happen soon.

Fatwa: Muslims will support Hindus for Ram Mandir:

The other day, in a weekend family gathering, a group of Muslim friends and families were discussing about the Liberhan report.

A Muslim gentleman said " we need justice, atleast now" and others nodded in agreement.

I said:

"If we get back the Babri mosque, another 1000 years we have to live as 2nd class citizens.

If we support Hindus to construct Ram Mandir, another 1000 years we can walk with our head high with self respect and dignity.

The entire nation will salute us.

Definitely Allah will NOT punish us for supporting peace and harmony.

I wish Darul Uloom Deoband declares a Fatwa saying that Muslims will support Hindus to build Ram Mandir.

After all it's our nation and we have a responsibility".

Well, the reaction was amazing. Even conservative Muslim ladies wearing Hijab, who normally avoid political talks, said in one voice " Jazakkallah, Alhamdulillah, Masha Allah....".

Another senior citizen said clamly "Sare Jehan Se Acha, Hindustan Hamara".

Where on the earth since the birth of Islam till date any solution offered by any group including muslim groups itself had ever been accepted by the Islamic Fundamentalists? If there is no such instance; the present proposal will be rejected too by the Fundamentalists ably aided by the vested interests in the country.

I think Congress will prove to be a villain in this offer to muslims. Congress will not allow muslim leaders to accept this offer because they want muslims to remember 6th December forever( If this offer is accepted, muslims will forget 6th December and BJP will gain the confidence of muslims which congress will not like). A similar thing happened during release of MNIK. Congress had pressurised SRK to not to say sorry to Balasaheb. Otherwise, person like SRK will not risk his film for speaking just one word (Sorry).

BJP should take organisations like VHP, SS, Bajrang dal and RSS into confidence before moving ahead in this offer. Any heat from these organisations and we will have to put the issue in ice-box again. Balasaheb has already criticized Gadkari for this. Moreover, BJP is not is good position to organize this deal as BJP is not is power either at centre or in UP.

Anyways, it can be a good issue to gain confidence of muslims.

Let me share with you my personal opinion. Before I dwell into details allow me to give you a brief background about me. I lived first 18 years of my life in Delhi in a middle class locality completely dominated by Hindus (espcially most people's parents/grandparents were migrants from Pakistan) Obviously the talks, sharings had a strong influence on me and imbibed a hate feeling against Muslims. Until I moved to Bangalore where I had the very first contact with Muslim/Muslim community, it was a difficult moment for me and I really had discomfort dealing but as the time progressed and I came to know them well, I started to think, why the hell I dislike them, they are just like me. The point of making on this post is if we want to keep the agenda on building a Ram temple in Ayodhya, keep the target date 500 years from now why?

Because we have to win over Muslims and not by force (it cannot happen for next 10, 20 or 50 years)

BJP is considered as communal

Congress had much larger edge over BJP is only because of Secularism (though they are not to anyone for the matter of fact)

How did BJP developed that image (over the period of time) Past is Past, let me focus on current and future :

I am sure BJP would have done lots of analysis why they lost the recent general election. The whole focus of BJP during the election campaign was Sonia Gandhi & Manmohan Singh. BJP gave free publicity and to spice it up Media too helped

BJP should work on to change the status of party not only domestic it should be recognized internationally too which will help them dealing with foreign policy when come to power. How?

PROTECT ALL CITIZENS (no matter which religion) in all BJP ruling states no matter what happens, if there is a communal riots, or bombing against Hindus, Make sure who did it gets killed (if BJP thinks Judiaciary proceedings takes time) not the overall community or minority who has nothing to do with. Godhra incident was big blunder from Modi Govt, may be he won Gujrath Election but it had a nationwide implication. Speech by Rahul Gandhi should be condemned publicly and if he has really done, he shouldn't have given the MP ticket.

Just because Hindus comprises 85% of total population does not mean we have more rights, we sill have Equal rights only.
Give more MP/MLA tickets to Muslims, and again do not talk about sensitive subjects un neccesarily provoking any community after all every one has sentiments.

We have huge respect Globally that is because we are fair with all and since Congress ruled majority of years they take the credit and make this as a big shield to fight against BJP.

Right now our focus should be Developing the Nation to greater heights, overtake China and become the largest economy in the World,

I like the Offer from BJP President but if you dig more we only collect more dirt. Right now focus on development, make sure all Citizens of India is benefitted. Offer will be accepted only when BJP shows the real secularism and development to minority community.

DEfnitely the muslims will accept this offer-- that is when BJP comprehensively defeats and finishes off the congress and makes narendra modi as our PM.
It is a well known fact that a section of the muslim intellegensia and leadership was working for peaceful and amicable settlement of all diputes and focusing on "barabari"(equality) rather than babri, during the vajapayee regime, especially in 2003-04. But our shock defeat has put the clock back and the vocal and violent brand of leadership, aided and abetted by congress took over. our PM talks of first right to muslims on all resources. Why on earth will anyone listen to our "shanthi mantrams" ?
